Forever trapped
lost in these walls of pain.
Ensnared nightmares
smothering dreams.
Images of another time and place
a prison within myself.

Vivid visions
my skin breathes the death.
the fire; its rage consumes all.

My rescuer is near,
his eyes break the smoke
fingers claw at the air
save me father.

The eyes dissolves into mist
despair rips at my heart
abandoned.

The fire hungry
surrounds me
offering no resistance
I surrender to my fate.
