JUST BREATHE
By Wendy : Shywalker

Just breathe Peter!
I can't! There is no air in this room.
This vacuous room, where those eyes stare into mine.
Those kinds eyes that stare,
recognizing only a stranger before them.
This stranger whose heart is dying at that lack of memory.

Just Breathe!
I'm trying! I need air.
Air and light, that would force this darkness away.
This darkness was to be banished by your presence in this room.
The room that was to hold my light, my heart; my breath.

Breathe!
I gasp the air into my lungs as the words flow.
I inhale light as his recollection illuminates his face.
I am breathing his essence, it allows my heart to beat.
As our arms enfold we breathe as one.

Just breathe Peter, one breath at a time.
