May I Talk With You?

| The radio
station is actually a gymnasium in the basement of
Eastminster Church in Toronto's Greektown. |

| The location of
Jackson's headquarters is actually a room in the back of
the basement of the church. The staircase one of his men
run down to the office leads to nowhere. It's a prop:-) |

| That same basement
gymnasium is the same place used for the first meeting of
Paul and Peter in the flashback in Retribution. |

| I was one of 25 fans who
spent a few hours on location during filming of the scene
between Peter and Lacey as Peter's on his way out of the
radio station to go after "Rob from Chinatown".
It took around 3 hours to shoot that 3 minute scene. |

| Some of the fans
returned for another day's filming and got to be extras
during the hostage scenes outside the travel agency. They
can be seen in the background of some of the shots. I
could list them, but I know of a certain someone who is
VERY camera shy:-) So I'll spare her the embarrassment:-)
Though I can never understand how someone who loves to
photograph people can be so "shy":-) |

| Script Differences | |
| In the script when Peter
approaches Caine after the situation at the travel
agency, he says, "Pop. Don't do things like that.
Please." (off Caine's shrug) "At least not over
the air. I can't take it. I have a weak heart." Skalany is nearby. She says wryly, "Mine stopped." |

| During the scene I saw
filmed, the following dialog was filmed but didn't make
it into the episode. Starting after Peter says,
"You're as cynical as Doc is." Lacey: "Worse." Peter: "Doesn't have to be that way." Lacey: (softens a little) "Comes with the territory. You start out full of confidence and hope, but then the crazies and disfunctionals of the world overwhelm you. You don't fight back with something, then what, you're just another pretty voice doing the weather. No thanks. Thank God for the Doc. At least he threw me a rope to hang on to." Peter: "Well, as my father would say, make sure the weakest fiber in the rope is as stong as..." (floundering; then:) "...a steel will." Lacey: (smiles) "That's what he would say?" Peter: "Something like that. If you listen to him long enough, you might get that hope back..." That's all that was different in the script. |
