The alley they run out to from the theatre is not really an alley. It's a small corner of the studio - indoors. They shot the whole alley scene indoors on the soundstage.

Script differences
This script has Peter still driving a Porsche. In the scene outside the Kwoon, Caine asks, "You have not returned your car to the police department?"

Peter replies wryly, "Paperwork. Takes weeks." Then he goes on with wanting to talk to Caine, but he was too busy...

When Caine has the flashback of Peter with the homework, there's some more dialog in the precinct.

Getting back to the precinct after Caine comes out of the flashback, Peter says, "Hi, there. I'd kind of given up on seeing you here." (looking back at the computer screen) "When I was a kid I always looked to you to solve my problems. Too bad you can't help me now."

Caine: "I am here for your help. One of my students is missing. Alicia."

And it goes on from there.

At Alicia's Grandmother's house during the scene where all the cops are there with their equipment, the scene starts with Blaisdell mentioning Ellen's son's publishing house and hinting that Alicia's disappearance may have a randsom tied to it. Then Strenlich calls him aside and asks him why Caine is there. Paul explains that Alicia was on of his students and he can lend moral support. Frank starts prying:

Strenlich: "How're you handling it? Peter's father walking into your life and taking over your role?"
Paul: "How're you handling the Mets being in the cellar?" (off Strenlich's look) "Guess that was a personal question. I don't expect an answer."

In the scene where Caine and Peter meet up with Caldrin, the man goes into a speech about how great the life in New York is. This is after Peter mentions meeting Caldrin in Washington. At one point Caldrin says, "Bob McCall. Hell of a guy. They called him 'The Equalizer.' Kicked the odds up if they were against you. New York's a poorer place without him."

Peter asks, "Odds got a little too tough?"
Caldrin: "I believe he just said good-bye to other people's grief. Tell me what you need, Pete."

And it goes on from there.

In the XXX movie, the script describes Peter as "mesmerized and
horrified by what he sees..."

In this script the singer's name is Carol Folana, not Hastings. And Peter doesn't know her.

Tyler is in this script. She ends up being at the party and not Carol. And she ends up being kidnapped.

In the tag, Peter is with Caine in the Agrippa Club watching her sing. He says, "I nearly lost her."

Caine replies, "Perhaps you should let her know how much that thought hurts you."
Peter: "She knows..."

Continuity comment: This episode SHOULD have aired in the beginning of the season, sometime after Sunday at the Hotel with George. Hence the rest of the speech...

Peter: "...Those moves you put on the Japanese contingent at the airport. Did you teach me those when I was a kid?"
Caine: "You were not ready."
Peter: "I'm ready now. How about if I join the class next Monday?" Caine: "So you may fight? I believe we had this discussion when you were twelve. That is not the reason to learn."
Peter: "Then what is?"
Caine: "When you can answer that, you will be welcome."

The ending description is: "Caine rises and moves out of shot. Peter sighs. He'd tried to reach out a hand and got his face slapped. But he slowly nods, looks over at Tyler, smiles at her, gets a look that should be sticking four inches out of his back and we.... fade out.

Did anyone else notice that in the homework flashbaack, young Peter is holding the pencil in his RIGHT
hand, and of course, adult Peter (CP) is LEFT handed.
