| Keep your
eyes peeled at the hospital, during the scene where Peter
talks to Dr. Fontaine, Caine, Jody and Kermit. There is a
yellow book on the nurse's station. It is the
"Shadow Assassin" novel by 'the Author, Everett
Cooper'. |

| Check out the lamp in
Peter's apartment. It's sitting on the end table by the
stairs. It's a cowboy boot. |

| Although Rite of Passage
aired first (no doubt to introduce Capt. Simms), this is
the first episode of the season. |

| In the script, Peter is
a little sicker. |

| When he and Jody are
waiting for Donny, they're not on a bridge, but at a
gazebo. And it's at night. After Jody asks if she can be
scared, Peter tells her to wait until she sees something.
Then he tells her to "Wait here," as Donny
approached. Then "Peter takes a step, staggers,
leans against a tree." Jody: "You've got the disease, haven't you?" Peter: "Fighting it. Must be all those different herbs my father gave me over the years. Built up my immune system. I'll be all right." When Donny tells Peter about Lula, Peter asks, "Is she in the hospital?" Donny: "Can't get a bed." Peter: "I'll talk to Nickie Elder. Pull some strings. He's working out of County General..." |

| In the scene where
Kermit, Jody, Caine and Peter are searching for Erickson
in the bowels of the building, there is more on Peter's
condition: DESCRIPTION: "Kermit gives all but Caine pencil flashlights, then plunges inot the darkness of the tunnel. Jody follows. Peter leans suddenly against the gate, his breathing shallow. Caine puts a hand to his forehead." Caine: "Your fever is higher..." Peter pushes away his hand. Peter: "I'm all right. Leave me alone!" They go to a flashback at that point, where Caine is putting his hand on young Peter's brow. Young Peter pulls away. "I'm all right, Father! Leave me alone!" |
